Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 16 July 2026

1. About us

This website (becomeunplayable.com) is operated by Decision Labs trading as Become Unplayable ("we", "us", "our"), based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@becomeunplayable.com.

2. These terms

These terms and conditions apply to your use of our website, the Become Unplayable Founding Club (waiting list) and any products you purchase from us. By using the site, joining the Founding Club or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date you use the site or place your order.

3. Founding Club (waiting list)

Joining the Founding Club is free. It gives you priority notification when a new production batch is available. Joining the waiting list is not an order and does not guarantee you a product — batches are produced in limited quantities and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Orders and contract formation

When a production batch is available and you place an order, your order is an offer to buy. A contract between you and us is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil your order (for example if a batch sells out) we will let you know and refund any payment in full.

Prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs, if any, are shown before you complete your purchase.

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe indicated on the product page. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.

6. Your right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a refund within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

To cancel, email us at hello@becomeunplayable.com with your order details. You must return the goods to us in an unused, resaleable condition within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. Return postage is your responsibility unless the goods are faulty or not as described. We will refund the price paid (including standard outbound delivery) within 14 days of receiving the goods back.

7. Faulty or misdescribed goods (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

We have a legal duty to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a product is faulty or not as described, please contact us and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or that could damage, disable or impair the site or interfere with other users. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, images, card designs and game mechanics — is owned by or licensed to Decision Labs and is protected by UK and international intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, copy or redistribute any part of the site without our prior written consent.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss of profits, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity, and our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with these terms is limited to the price you paid for the relevant goods.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
